2 Foster Fails and One Adoption!

Good morning! What is a foster failure, anyway? A foster failure is when one of WAG’s foster parents decides to adopt the dog they have been fostering. We had two in two days! What a great Valentine’s Day gift!

Copper Top and Moki were both adopted by their foster parents. You have probably read about Copper Top here on the blog before. Moki was never featured. She is an elderly dog that was picked up as a stray in Levy County and never claimed. One of our volunteers decided to foster her at least through the cold nights, as it is harder on elder dogs, and he fell in love with her and adopted her.

Yesterday, also not featured here yet, Baby was adopted. Baby came to us when she was picked up as a stray via the city.

Happy Tails to all of these awesome dogs!

WAG is having an adoption event Saturday, February 19th from 10-2 at the beautiful new Tractor Supply in Williston, Florida. We will have some of our dogs in attendance, Glen, Jackson, Kinley, and Ashley. Plus pictures and bios of all of our available dogs.

We need volunteers, fosters, and sponsors! If you would like to learn about the ways you can help WAG, visit or Help Wanted page.

Williston Animal Group is a 501C3 dog rescue located in Williston, Florida. We are fully staffed by volunteers and funded by amazing donors.
